Jo-Ann Robson | Michelle Frazer
Jo-Ann Robson
Jo-Ann Robson has been teaching her clients all about Pilates for over 15 years, with extensive Pilates training in Canada and the United States. She owned and operated a successful Pilates studio in Toronto prior to moving out to beautiful British Columbia and setting up her new studio in downtown Ladysmith in early 2009.
I've been taking Pilates since last September. The workouts are fun to do. I feel proud that I've regained the agility I was losing after sitting all day in front of a computer. I plan to continue doing Pilates for the rest of my life. In fact, I see it as a means of keeping people fit and healthy long into those sunset years. It's amazingly effective, yet it's gentle and protective. Body Resource Studio has an endless repertoire of exercises to help whatever muscle group needs special attention.

She has extensive knowledge and experience, working with women and men who want to be better fit or have experienced injuries and are on the road to recovery. She also works with clients who have diverse needs such as those who want to gain greater skill with their athletic sports; from marathon runners to hockey players, injured professional dancers and athletes, and people with mobility and postural problems.

Jo-Ann passionately believes that people have the ability to resource from within, to re-educate their minds and bodies. Pilates is for everyone, of all ages, and from all walks of life, that would like to feel strong, with increased stamina.
Truly, Jo-Ann believes that Pilates can offer you endless possibilities for improving your wellness.
Michelle Frazer
Michelle began practicing yoga in 2001 for the physical benefit of fitness and the mental benefit of stress reduction. Her husband, Terry, introduced her to the Kripalu style of yoga in 2005. The more she practiced, the more she noticed strength, stillness and self-compassion. This practice inspired her deepen her practice by training as a teacher. She graduated from Trinity Yoga Centre's 200 hour yoga teacher training program in 2006. Since then she has taken advanced training in asanas, yoga therapy and teaching meditation. Michelle is currently studying the relationship of meditation practices on the brain function and physical health.

Michelle's classes range from shorter classes that are challenging and dynamic to longer restorative classes that end with guided meditation. Michelle combines nature, poetry, music and humor to give you a full yoga practice. Expect to laugh and be surprised at least once in each class!
Michelle wishes to support 4 aspects of each student's experience:
